Administrator: The pastor of Calvary’s Harvest Baptist Church serves as administrator

Principal: The principal is responsible for maintaining discipline and order in the Learning Center and school properties. The principal is also responsible for day-to-day decision-making.

Supervisor/Teacher: Each student is assigned to an ACE trained supervisor. The supervisor assumes responsibility for inspiring achievement in each student.

Monitor: Monitors are Para-professionals who provide assistance to the supervisor/teacher

Who is Calvary's Harvest Christian Academy?

Located in the heart of Jonesboro, GA Calvary's Harvest Christian Academy is a welcoming, rigorous Christian School providing an excellent education for our students, from pre-K through 12th grade! Here at Harvest, we lay a foundation of Christian excellence that will follow your student throughout their lives! No other schools in the area provide your child with a higher level of education while teaching them the Scriptures and giving them the opportunity to become the young people God ordained them to be. It is vital that a child be taught the Bible and the claims of Christ on the life of each individual, which is why we are so focused on incorporating these truths into the classroom. Here at Harvest Christian Academy, we build strong minds and strong leaders.

We emphasize high moral standards, values, educational achievement, and a commitment to Jesus Christ at our Christian School . What is the purpose of your Christian School?

The purpose of Calvary’s Harvest Christian Academy is to provide a quality education for each student, to assist parents in the developing of a Christian home, and to produce students that follow the call of God in areas of ministry. Our Christian School’s highest priority is to provide quality academics that are based upon spiritual training. It is vital that a child be taught the Bible and the claims of Christ on the life of each individual. Conformity to Christ’s image (Romans 8:29) is the ultimate goal of education and training. Proper Christian character and a right view of life begins with a proper relationship to God through Jesus Christ, and a view of life based upon the Word of God. It is our desire that each child come to the place where they receive Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior, and grow into His likeness.

Calvary’s Harvest Christian Academy is a Christian School that seeks to educate and train young people in becoming Godly witnesses in their homes, communities, and the world. This Godly witness includes being a good citizen, with proper respect for authority and government (Romans 13:1-2).

What are your faith and values?

First and foremost we believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Bible, as it is in truth, the Word of God at our Christian school… (I Thessalonians 2:13). We believe in verbal, plenary inspiration in the original writings, and God’s preservation of His pure words to every generation (II Timothy 3:16, Psalms 12:6-8). The Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Received Text of the New Testament (Textus Receptus) are those texts of the original languages we accept and use; the King James Version of the Bible is the only English version we accept and use. What are your Admission policies at your Christian School?

For grades K-5 students at our Christian school must be teachable and obedient, as a habit. He/She must be willing to be taught to be polite and well-mannered in his/her behavior.

Church Attendance: The student must also be willing to attend the special church services of Calvary’s Harvest Baptist Church, when it does not conflict with the regularly scheduled services of the student’s home church. Special services include revivals, Bible Conferences, and Mission Conferences.

For grades 6-8 students at our Christian school must demonstrate a teachable attitude and have a desire to learn. The student must also display integrity and character in their work ethic.

Church Attendance: Students are encouraged to be a faithful attender of the normal scheduled services of a Bible-believing church. They are further encouraged to be involved in some ministry of their church. We believe that a high school student should be of the maturity level to be involved in serving. The student must also be willing to attend the special church services of Calvary’s Harvest Baptist Church, when it does not conflict with the regularly scheduled services of the student’s home church.
